The staff, musicians and Board of the PSO are pleased to welcome a new member to the Board of Directors, former Trent University faculty member Jocelyn (Josie) Aubrey.

Josie and her husband, Brion, moved to the Peterborough area in 1991 and soon settled on a lovely acreage west of Cavan. After completing her PhD at the University of Alberta, she began her academic career on the faculty of Trent as a member of the Department of Psychology. At Trent, in addition to teaching, conducting research and serving on numerous committees, Josie held a number of administrative positions including six years as Chair of Psychology and five as Associate Dean, Undergraduate Studies.

Since retiring in 2013, she has become involved in the Cavan-Millbrook community as a driver for Community Care and as a member of the Board of the Millbrook and District Medical Centre. She has also transitioned her hobby as a creative jewellery artist into a part-time business. Having sung in school, university and church choirs for many years, a particularly enjoyable retirement activity for Josie is singing with the Millbrook Community Choir.
