The
Peterborough Symphony Orchestra is pleased to offer a new service to friends and
audience members with the 2004/2005 season launch of our Planned Giving Program.
For
those who care deeply about music and the arts, The PSO offers a unique opportunity
to leave a legacy that will reflect your own personal values and priorities. For
most people, a planned gift is the largest gift you will make in life. It is a
personal statement and dynamic symbol of what life means to you, while optimizing
tax and other benefits in your daily life or estate planning.
Planning
for the Future The PSO has much to celebrate as we move into this citys
centennial year: an orchestra that is acclaimed both at home and abroad, a strong
season programme with a solid base of subscribers and donors who come back year
after year, as well as a Teaching Program, Childrens Concerts and a burgeoning
outreach program to retirement homes and rural schools. The next question is:
where do we go from here?
The
Peterborough Symphony has achieved so much because of the artistic excellence
at the centre of the organization. But now, more than ever, we need a solid underpinning
of financial stability if we are to continue to grow and develop artistically.
The PSO requires a long term, permanent base of financial support.
A
Planned Gift to the Symphony is a living legacy that will endure in perpetuity
supporting and inspiring talented musicians for generations to come. The regional
scope of PSO programs allows you, as a donor, to make a permanent contribution
on a broad scale that will have a far-reaching influence on the cultural life
of the city of Peterborough and surrounding region. Your planned gift can
be made in a number of ways and can be fine-tuned to meet your needs as an individual.
