We, at Swish, consider ourselves to be in
the ”health” business. Our products promote a clean and healthy environment
in which to work and relax. For Swish to be successful, it must promote and participate
in the creation and maintenance of healthy communities that aspire to provide
a first class living experience. To this end, Swish encourages employees to be
involved in community volunteer work and Swish makes financial donations to various
charitable endeavours, which promote healthy communities. Music, along with the
other Arts, reflects man’s striving to create something of beauty. This is
important, not only in of itself, but also, by encouraging youth to undertake
the commitment involved in developing their musical talents. A much more worthwhile
endeavour than many of the alternative activities tempting the youth of today.
We consider the PSO the pinnacle of musical experience in Peterborough and are

We believe in one of the
traditional roles of music of helping to bind the family and the community together
by doing activities together, such as producing music together as a group, as
listeners to an individual or group producing music, and in the teaching of the
next generation. In appreciation of the opportunities the PSO has given our daughter
to play her harp with the symphony, and, in recognition of the many blessings
God has granted our family, we deemed it appropriate to make what we would consider
a significant donation to the PSO. |
