Mainly amateur musicians people the orchestra with a variety of experience and heritage, from retirees to university students to long-time residents to recent immigrants to the region. Some of these special folks have been with us since we incorporated in 1967, and others – such as our orchestra representatives on the Board, Lloyd King and Carole Pedler – have only joined us in the last year or so.

We hope you’ll join us at each concert reception to meet and mingle with our fine players: they’re a pretty fascinating bunch and pretty friendly, to boot!
