Have some fun with your concert outfit on December 10!

Audience members at A Nutcracker Christmas are invited to show their holiday or team spirit with their concert wear this Saturday.

To go along with the festive fun of Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite, Anderson’s Christmas Festival and others, many of the PSO musicians will be adding a pop of holiday cheer to their concert dress with a seasonal accessory or colour. Maestro Newnham invites you to do the same, though the PSO would appreciate if no flashing electronic accessories are worn inside the Showplace theatre.

And if you’re a hockey fan, and showing support for your favourite team or player is more your style, why not don a jersey or team colours? We know that Bob Gainey will be representing the Montreal Canadiens Saturday evening in an official Gainey #23 jersey as he narrates The Hockey Sweater.

Don’t forget that Bob’s hockey sweater will be autographed by the hockey legend himself as part of the PSO’s Christmas Raffle prize package. The package will also include a special 30th anniversary hard cover edition of The Hockey Sweater signed by author Roch Carrier, a voucher for two Peterborough Petes 2016/17 regular season tickets and a $50 gift certificate for the Peterborough Petes Store. Purchase your tickets at the concert ($10 each or three for $25), or until December 22 from the PSO office online or by calling 705-742-1992. The draw will take place December 22, 2016 at the PSO office. The winner will be notified by telephone.
