 The Adventure Continues in 2017/18!

Welcome to the PSO’s 51st Season!

Last year the Peterborough Symphony Orchestra marked its 50th anniversary as an organization with an exciting season celebrating our journey. This season, the PSO continues this journey, expanding our skills and artistic vision, while deepening the connections to our community established back in 1967. The PSO is now a cultural cornerstone in Peterborough, with a reputation as one of the finest community-based orchestras in Canada.

In this 51st concert season, we challenge ourselves to go above and beyond the benchmark set last year. The PSO is stepping into the future, bringing to Peterborough orchestral pieces that have never been performed here before, guest artists from a new generation of acclaimed Canadian talent, and artistic programming uniquely connected to the local community.

In 2017/18 the adventure continues with the PSO. Please join me and our fabulous musicians as we present an outstanding season, sure to take us all to new heights.

-Michael Newnham, PSO Music Director & Conductor
